Sights and Sounds: Lancaster PA

Went last week to see the production of:

What an Awesome Show!!

The set of Noah was amazing:

And some of the animals led into the Ark were real:

Others were Animatronic:

The Inside of the Ark surrounded the audience so it was as if we were in the Ark too

Just about every animal you could think of was there!

At the end of the play the Ark turns into the Cross

And through the door of the Ark /cross stands Jesus

He reminds us that He is the Ark of Salvation.

He reminds us that:

I had never made that connection before,

between the story of Noah and the Resurrection.

In Genesis people had turned away from God,

Only Noah and his family remained faithful.

In the many years it took to construct the Ark,

Noah took much abuse and humiliation from people from all over.

But he continually begged them to turn back to God

and get into the Ark to be saved.

Of course, they laughed and ignored him.

And they perished.

In the time of Jesus,

Christ took much abuse and humiliation from people from all over.

He reached out to them again and again to return to God and be saved.

Of course, they laughed and ignored Him.

And they crucified Him.

Today,  many try to spread His Word to others.

Some will take great abuse and humiliation in their efforts to save us,

(the above Christian man was beaten by an angry mob)

Will you repent and find Salvation in Christ?

Or will you perish?
