I ended my last post with a controversial claim
"Allah is NOT God"
We in the Western Hemisphere are learning so much about Islam
As our countries are becoming homes to more and more Muslims.
And we well understand Christianity
(even those of us who are not believers)
But Islam, for most of us, is truly a new thing.
I hear repeatedly that we all worship the same God.
I hear from Muslims that Allah is God
Allah is the Creator.
However, Islam teaches that Allah is the one and only God
And denies the trinity.
It denies the divinity of Jesus Christ.
It denies the Holy Spirit as being God.
(They teach that the Holy Spirit is Jibreel)
Islam teaches that Jesus did not die for our sins.
It teaches that Judas was crucified, not Jesus.
And it denies the resurrection.
These are the three core tenets of the Christian faith:
That God, Jesus and the Holy Ghost are One.
That Jesus was crucified for our sins.
That on the third day He rose.
This is what the Bible teaches.
The Bible is the Word of God.
The Quran is the Word of Allah.
And they teach two different things.
Since we know God does not lie,
why would He teach two different and opposing things
if He is Allah?
Because God is NOT Allah.
So then, who is Allah?
Woah. I always thought Allah was the same as God and the Qur'an to the Bible.
ReplyDeleteOK, now I'm confused...
me too, but the more I read the more I found the differences fascinating........
