Michael Brown

You may remember Michael Brown.

He was shot by a policeman last fall.

The first witnesses claimed Michael Brown was approaching the police

With his arms up in Surrender

"Hands up!  Don't Shoot!"

But the cop killed him anyway.

This story was picked up by the media and went viral.

Celebrities and Athletes embraced the story.

They would raise their hands in the air and chant

"Hands up!  Don't Shoot!"

Unfortunately the witness was lying.


Interviews with over 100 witnesses showed that

Michael Brown fought with the officer and almost got his gun.

These witnesses stated that Michael Brown was charging the cop

In a manner intending harm to the cop.

He was not only resisting arrest,

Michael Brown was very well going to harm

or even kill  that cop.

These witnesses told their story

But the media wouldn't report it,

at least not with the energy that they reported the lie.



The grand jury determined these witnesses were telling the truth.

The cop was innocent.

Michael Brown was guilty


But the media barely reported it.

At least not with the energy that they reported the lie.



And just last week this truth was released to the public

by the US Dept. of Justice.


Did you hear about it?


Did the Celebrities and Athletes speak out

about their mistake  and share the truth?



No.



Even today, many people think that Michael Brown

was an innocent bystander targeted and murdered

by that racist cop

The truth doesn't matter.

The lie had been spread

so far and so many times

that it became the truth.

And people refuse to see reality.

because the lie is easier.




It is more work to set aside your emotions,

your beliefs, your prejudices

and examine all the facts.


Its so much easier to accept and embrace that lie.

People even went to war over this lie!


Led and encouraged by



race hustling community leaders and politicians

The people rioted and created a huge wave of violence

against their very own community.

It's a tragedy.

And it is old news, right?

So why am I bringing it up?

I was thinking about the parallels in this story 

 to the lie that there is no God.

The atheist embraces this lie and spreads it.



They go to war over it.

They refuse to examine the evidence that will reveal the truth.

 

And the lie that there is no God

has been repeated so loudly

in movies, books, schools, etc

 that the masses no longer can see the truth.  

The lie has been spread

so far and so many times

that it has become the truth.

And people refuse to see reality.

Because the lie is easier.

It is more work to step aside your emotions,

your beliefs, your prejudices

and examine all the facts.

Its so much easier to accept and embrace 

The Lie that there is no God.

Parallel to the destructive riots, 

the masses ridicule and mock us,

as they are led and encouraged by

Atheistic professors and scientists.



And as the rioters destroyed their community,

the atheists and their followers destroy their fellow man.


In one businesses went up in flames

in the other, souls will  go "up in flames"

I think this is why most Christians I know are timid

when it comes to discussing their faith openly.


We are timid about praying in public.

We are shy to share our beliefs with others--

Even with our friends and family.

God has given us enough information to know He is real,

We just have to open our minds and see it.  


And yes, it is a harder path to take--

But with Greater Risks come Greater Rewards.
