God loves all of us. That is true.
So it is confusing why He would send someone He says He loves to a place as horrible as Hell. I was asked this very question recently, and it is one that I have thought about so much, prayed on, and asked for guidance in understanding.
"Look at it this way" one of my youth counselor said. "You do something wrong, you get punished, right? You lie to your parents, you get punished. Do you think your parents like to punish you? Do you think your parents love you less when they punish you? No, they love you, always love you, even when you mess up. But you still have to be punished."
But punishments are temporary, our parents don't punish us FOREVER and in a way as terrible as Hell.
Is God too extreme?
A friend told me, "I don't pretend to understand everything God does, or why He does it. I just know God looks into our hearts and He knows us, He knows whose heart if full of love, whose heart is full of evil. God is Just and God is Fair. We just have to trust Him"
I have learned that God doesn't want to send anyone to Hell, He wants sooooo badly for us all to be in Heaven with Him.
But there can be NO sin in Heaven, and there can be no sinners.
That is why God let His Son, whom He loved, be tortured and hung on a cross to die.
Do you think it is easy to watch someone you love die like that??
God sacrificed Jesus to pay the price / take the punishment for our sin.
See, we mess up, we have to be punished. Jesus took our punishment for us, we don't have to go to Hell. We just have to say "Yes, I messed up. Please Forgive me" and if that is true in your heart then you are forgiven and can go to Heaven.
It is the ones who refuse to admit their mistakes, their sins and refuse to ask for God's forgiveness that go to Hell. We send ourselves to Hell.
We turn our backs on God and say things like: "I don't believe in you" or "I hate you for all the terrible things that have happened to me or to others"
What can He do to get you to come back to Him??

What is the Bible Really About?
This video was an eye opener
I knew the Bible was a collection of 66 Books
written over 1,500 years on 3 Continents in 3 Languages
by numerous authors who were divinely inspired
and therefore consistent and inerrant.
But did not realize that it
contains an underlying theme that is
in Declaring Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior
which to me PROVES the Bible is
Divinely Inspired,
Consistent and Inerrant.

How to be Christian Without Being a Jerk
Hello everyone, guest author Megan speaking. Others may know me for my username "GreatShot".
I was invited to make a post on this blog and I had a pretty decent topic idea, as you can see by the title - "How to be Christian Without Being a Jerk".
Everyone is well aware about bad Christians - ones that hate gays, transgenders, Muslims, or anyone who they believe is supposed to go to Hell. They all do this under the name of the Lord, and I can tell you right off the bat none of this is right.
Take the Westboro Baptist Church for example.
You've probably seen these guys on the news before. They're perfect examples of what a Christian doesn't look like. Christianity is supposed to be a religion of peace and love, and the Westboro Baptist Church spreads only hate, believing this is the image of "justice".
It gets worse if you check out their website.
(even their URL is "godhatesfags.com")
And since they act this way, this does not make them Christian - they may claim they are, but they aren't, the same way that ISIS isn't Islam.
They go completely off based on a few Bible verses, none of which say "these people deserve to be hated".
In fact, the Bible is completely the opposite of what these types of "Christians" would have you believe.
(for anyone who may kick out their own children for being "wrong")
Now of course, there are good Christians. Ones who are completely accepting of those who would otherwise be outcasted. And if you are Christian, this is the type you should aim to be.
Because when it comes down to it, everybody just wants to be happy. And I feel as though keeping people happy should be a part of a Christian's job, and spreading love is ten times better than spreading hate. You have everything to gain out of spreading love, but nothing out of loathing others.
Even if you believe that the rules in the Bible about homosexuality should be followed, you can still vote for gay marriage and help gays and other LGBT+ members feel accepted. Because even if you may live by these rules, others may not - and it's not your job to tell other people how to live their life.
The same applies for Christians who hate Islam. A good majority of Muslims are good, kind people, but the media and ISIS have given them a bad image, just as the Westboro Baptist Church and the KKK paint bad images for Christians.
If you believe that ISIS represents Islam, do you also believe the KKK represents Christianity?
ISIS and the KKK are both terrorist groups. Terrorism does not apply to religions of peace in any circumstance.
If you want to be a decent person, you should not be spreading hate or judgement. Even the Bible supports this.
Judgement is not something for us to do.
We do not decide whether or not people go to Hell - that is up to the Lord.
So think about all this next time you tell a kid he's going to Hell for being gay. Think about this next time you try to pull a woman's hijab off her head. Think about this next time you go on a rampage on social media because "fags", "n*ggers" or "trannies" don't fit in to the rules you go by.
In the end, if someone has different beliefs than you, or acts different than you, or has different interests than you, as long as they bring no harm to anyone, there is absolutely no reason to hate them. And if you truly are a Christian, you shouldn't hate in the first place.

Is God Real?
I guess the best place to start anything is at the beginning! And I think the first thing most curious people want to know is, "Is God Real?"
They say it takes faith to believe in God, because you can't see Him, touch Him or feel Him.
I see Him whenever I look at the beauty and perfection of nature. I touch Him whenever I reach out in prayer. I feel Him in my Heart when I do His work.
I think it takes more Faith to believe there is NO God.
I like science. Did you know that for the longest time people thought the Universe was without a beginning or an end?? Even though The Bible tells us there is a beginning, when God spoke "Let There Be Light" and from nothingness there was light......Like a BIG Flash of light......Like the Big Bang........
Science in the 1970's learned there IS a beginning to the universe, there is evidence of a beginning, as a big burst of light and they call it the Big Bang.
Now Science has shown us how perfect this universe is for life! There was just the right amount of "stuff" made in the Big Bang to create all the stars and planets and life.
Our Solar System is at the right spot in our galaxy to allow life. In the center is a crushing black hole, there can be no life near the center of our galaxy
Our Earth is the right distance from the Sun to allow Life. Any closer....too hot, any further...too cold.
The Moon is the perfect distance from us to allow for life. It effects tides and weather to allow for seasons that allow for life to grow.
When science looks at the design of the universe, our solar system, our planet and even us, they find that we are perfectly designed for life.
It is impossible to be random.
The odds of us being here as a series of random events is less than the odds of 100 chimps on word processors given a billion years of banging on the key board and randomly stringing letters in the correct order to make a poem.
With those impossible odds, there has to be a Creator, someone of such great intelligence to have created all this, for life, for us.
That is God. And God IS Real.
