Intolerance

Why is God so Intolerant?

Why can't He love us for who we are?

We feel rejected, we think He has turned His back on us

So we turn our backs on Him.

But that is because of our Ignorance.

We do not understand.

We do not understand His love

Or His Nature.

God is Perfectly Holy.

He cannot be in the presence of Sin.

If you have a basket of beautiful perfect apples

and you toss in one that is slightly rotten,

what becomes of the perfect apples?

If you have a beautiful, pure white dress

and you drop the smallest stain upon it

what happens to that dress?

If God were to allow one person

who had committed only one small sin in their lifetime

to be in His Presence

Can God still be pure?

Can God still be Holy?

No.  

 But why are we never good enough for God?

We are sinners.

Admit it.

No matter how good you are, how loving, how kind,

Have you ever snickered at something bad that happened to someone you don't like?

Have you ever listened to gossip or spread it?

Have you ever told the smallest of lies?

That is our nature

We have a Sin Nature.

God knows this about us, even as hard as we try to deny it.

But God loves us anyway.

He loves us so much that He desperately must find a way for us to be with Him.

What can He do?

How can He forgive us and wash away our sins?

Only by blood.

By the blood of His son can we be made clean.

By the blood of His son we are forgiven.

And by accepting this gift we may run into God's open, wanting arms.

All we have to do is say YES.

I accept Jesus as my Savior, as my Redeemer.

I accept the gift of His sacrifice to be made clean, so that I may 

LIVE FOREVER

with the Glory of God in Heaven.
