Catching Fire

Everyone in school is getting really hyped about the 2nd Hunger Games movie, "Catching Fire".

IF you are living under a rock and don't know what it is about, let me catch you up.
The Hunger Games takes place in a post-apocalyptic world where
the Capitol oppresses the rest of the Nation (known as Districts 1-12) for it's servitude and pleasure.
To maintain the oppression over the Districts each year a boy and girl from each district
are selected to fight to the death in a world like arena for
the entertainment of the Capitol.

The heroine, Katniss, survives the Hunger Games.
Generally the "players" of these games are ruthless, as they are trying to survive.
Katniss shows compassion for those weaker than her in the arena,
even trying to protect them.  She only kills for self-defense.

Her bravery and love for others inspires a rebellion,
which begins in this 2nd book / movie
called "Catching Fire"

This morning in Church the pastor said something,
that I am embarrassed that I can't recall,
but it made me think of this movie.

The desire for revolution, inspired by Katniss, caught Fire.
And it spread like a wildfire out of control through all the Districts.

Can we Catch Fire for Christ?

Can we start a Revolution to bring others to Him?

That is what this World Needs.

A Revolution.

A Revival.

A Return to God.

Will You Catch Fire?
